Emilia and Pablo, Chilean actors and musicians who have lived in Madrid for nine years, blend Hispano-American music with flamenco nuances from their adopted home. They use their acting skills to transform the stage space within their concerts, creating one of the most compelling and emblematic projects of the new folklore movement both in Spain and Latin America.

Their work has captivated some of Spain’s foremost flamenco artists, including Diego el Cigala, Estrella Morente, José Mercé, and Silvana Estrada at the Festival Jazz en el Palacio Real. They have carried their sound to diverse corners of the world, Prague, Berlin, Barcelona, Budapest, Marseille, Madrid, and back to their origins in Santiago de Chile. In Madrid, they have performed at venues such as Condeduque, Teatros del Canal, and Joy Eslava.

While their latest album, Isla Virtuosa, marked the evolution of a style that bridges tradition and modernity, folklore and psychedelia, their new project, De Púrpura y Melancolía, promises a musical journey into the mystery of Latin American poetry’s universe, as envisioned by Emilia and Pablo. They will be joined live by exceptional musicians and special guests.
